Article 1
The Center organizes class schedules for Audiovisual Classrooms at the beginning of each semester. When no class is scheduled, a classroom may be rented by programs at the University or School of Continuing Education.
Article 2
A class that rents an Audiovisual Classroom must have an actual need to use audiovisual equipment. If audiovisual equipment is not essential for the purposes of class, another classroom should be rented so that programs with an actual need may have access. Before renting an Audiovisual Classroom, the Audiovisual Classroom Rental Form should be completed (Appendix). If a rental request is made over the telephone, the form will be completed by administrative staff.
Article 3
Audiovisual Classrooms are primarily used for classes and academic activities hosted by programs and divisions of the University and School of Continuing Education. Rental requests must be made by the instructor, program secretary, or teaching assistant. Rental requests made by students will not be accepted.
Article 4
Rental applications may only be made during even weeks, and classrooms may only be rented for the week the application is made or the following week. (Special activities are exempt from this restriction.) Programs that would like to rent the classroom may do so by telephone or by having a staff member make the request in person at the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Center.
Article 5
Anyone who would like to use the Audiovisual Classroom for a speech, forum, or other special activity should inform the Center 3 days in advance so that the equipment may be tested beforehand to prevent any problems with equipment or showing files.
Article 6
Audiovisual classrooms may be rented Mondays to Fridays (8:10 am – 5:30 pm) if there is no class scheduled. On Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm they are closed for routine maintenance.
Article 7
Anyone who would like to rent the Audiovisual Classroom in the Divine Word Academic High-Rise during non-working hours should apply at the General Services Division of the Office of General Affairs so that staff may be assigned to work. Anyone who would like to rent the audiovisual classroom at the College of Foreign Languages and Literature during non-working hours may borrow a key to a select classroom after receiving the approval of the Director of the Center. The program renting the classroom is responsible for the key, making sure no equipment is damaged, and locking doors and windows properly after use. If the key is lost, equipment is damaged, or anything is stolen, the program that rented the classroom will be held financially responsible and will have to pay the full amount.
Article 8
The Center does not typically have staff work overtime for rentals of classrooms during non-working hours. If staff members are required to work, the program renting the room should make apply to pay the staff overtime. If staff are unable to work overtime and a key cannot be lent out for security reasons (this includes some classrooms at the College of Foreign Languages, Room JSB18 at the Msgr. Fahy Memorial Bld., and Room LI402 in the College of Liberal Arts), the program should rent another classroom.
Article 9
These Regulations have been passed by the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Committee and will be promulgated and implemented upon approval of the Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The same procedure will be followed for each amendment.

Article 1
Users of Language Labs are required to pay for use. Students in a class scheduled in a Language Lab must pay language practice fees unless they have a special written exemption from the University. Users applying for a short-term rental of a Language Lab should do so in accordance with Article 4.
Article 2
Language Labs are available to all members of the University. The Foreign Language Teaching Resource Center will organize class schedules and assign rooms. To make full use of learning spaces and encourage frequent use, the Center will also provide Labs for short-term rental. After class schedules have been determined, the Language Labs will be open to all academic programs of the University if not scheduled for use.
Article 3
To make full use of instruments, equipment, and the unique capabilities of the Language Labs, scheduling and rental is limited to lectures and courses which require the specialized equipment such as practice for pronunciation, oral communication, and interpretation. Classes which need to play video or audiovisual materials should borrow an Audiovisual Classroom.
Article 4: Renting Language Labs
- Language Labs are located in the College of Foreign Languages and Literature, College of Liberal Arts, Msgr. Fahy Memorial Bld., and the School of Continuing Education. They are open for daytime use beginning the first Monday after the add/drop period for course registration. Language Labs may be used from 8:10 am until 5:30 pm as long as no class is scheduled. They are closed on Wednesdays from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm for routine maintenance.
- To ensure that resources are used effectively and not wasted on air conditioning and powering equipment, at least 10 people must register to use a Language Lab at the same time.
- The Center is unable to provide on-the-spot assistance during class, therefore instructors are encouraged to make an appointment at the Center one week before their booking to learn how to operate equipment.
- Rental applications may only be made during even weeks, and labs may only be rented for the week the application is made or the following week. (Special activities are exempt from this restriction.) Programs wishing to rent a Lab should fill out the Language Lab Rental Form. (See Appendix).
- An instructor may rent a Language Lab no more than twice for a single course over the span of a semester.
Article 5
These Regulations have been passed by the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Committee and will be promulgated and implemented upon approval of the Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Each amendment will follow the same procedure.

Article 1
To provide synchronous and asynchronous distance learning courses, the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Center (hereinafter ‘the Center’) at Fu Jen Catholic University has established two Distance Learning Classrooms: SF901 in the Divine Word Academic High-Rise, and LA302 in the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
Article 2
Main uses of Distance Learning Classrooms:
- To assist instructors at the University conduct synchronous and asynchronous distance learning courses.
- To assist divisions at the University conduct video conferences.
Article 3
Uses and priority access:
- Synchronous distance learning courses.
- Video conferences.
- Asynchronous distance learning courses.
- Rentals because of a need to use the specialized equipment.
Article 4
A scheduling conflict between users will be resolved according to the order of priority listed above. While classes that have already been scheduled will receive priority in the order above, if there is a scheduling conflict between a scheduled class and another party that has a greater need for specialized equipment, the class in the usual position of priority will be reassigned.
Article 5
All programs at the University may apply to use a Distance Learning Classroom. If a program needs to schedule a class or a make a short-term rental, it should complete the Distance Learning Classroom Scheduling Request Form or the Distance Learning Classroom Rental Form and have it approved by the Center.
Article 6
Since the facilities in the Distance Learning Classroom contain precision instruments, if an instructor requires assistance from a staff member to operate the equipment while conducting synchronous or asynchronous distance learning classes or an online video conference, they must first schedule a class to have a technician on hand. If a user would like to make a short-term rental for a distance learning course or video conference, he/she should make the rental request two weeks in advance to ensure that there is proper time to perform a connection test.
Article 7
Renting a Distance Learning Classroom is free for all divisions and programs of the University. However, any supplies needed from the Center must be paid for. Users making a short-term rental of Distance Learning Classrooms may require a work-study student to operate equipment. The student’s wages should be paid for by the program.
Article 8
Applications to rent Distance Learning Classrooms should be made during office hours.
Article 9
Eating or drinking is prohibited in Distance Learning Classrooms.
Article 10
These Guidelines have been passed by the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Committee and will be promulgated and implemented upon approval of the Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Each amendment will follow the same procedure.

一、源起
為求多媒體自動錄播教室管理權責明確,使所提供之軟硬體設備能達到最大效益,並規範各系所及全校師生使用教室遵行之規則而訂定本辦法。
二、定義與功能
本辦法所稱之「多媒體自動錄播教室」(以下簡稱本教室)係指已裝設多媒體自動錄播系統,並由外語教學與數位學習資源中心(以下簡稱本中心)負責管理與維護之教室,該教室之設備為錄製課堂活動歷程及記錄演講、工作坊實況。
三、借用
- 為達資源共享及設備充分使用之功能,本教室開放全校各系所及教師申請使用,並由本中心統籌學期排課、臨時借用相關協調事宜。
- 學期排課需求者:
- 請依照本中心每學期公告之排課時程及流程提出申請。
- 為有效運用本教室設備資源,具課程錄影需求達9週以上之課程可申請排課。
- 具課程錄影需求之教師可優先使用本教室,如有空堂,方可接受其他具視聽設備需求之課程申請排課及使用
- 臨時借用需求者,請於使用前一週下載填寫「多媒體自動錄播教室臨時借用申請表」辦理借用程序。
- 多媒體自動錄播教室之使用優先順序如下:
- 對多媒體自動錄播系統之使用機能需求較高者
- 學期排課
- 臨時借用
- 遇有使用時段衝突時,應依上開原則進行協調。優先順序於後位者如已排入課程,但使用時段卻與教室設備需求更為殷切者衝突時,優先順序於後位者須配合調課。
- 本教室開放時段為學校正常上班時間,為善盡教室管理責任,恕無法外借教室鑰匙供使用者於非上班時間自行使用。
- 使用者/使用單位如因故停用,應於使用日3天前通知本中心。
四、管理
- 欲使用本教室多媒體自動錄播系統者,請務必參加本中心定期舉辦之設備操作說明會,如需本中心派員協助者,應於使用前3日向教室管理人員提出申請,如遇衍生經費,應由使用單位支付。
- 為有效管理硬碟空間,課程存檔之錄影檔案將定期刪除,請教師務必於錄製課程後1週內攜帶隨身碟向本中心管理人員申請存取檔案,逾期恕不負檔案保管責任。
五、環境維護
借用單位應負責維護教室之整潔及安全,歸還前需將場地復原。教室內器材設備未經許可不得擅自搬動,如需變動設置,應先徵得本中心管理人員之同意,若有損壞,應照價賠償或負責完全修復。
六、義務
使用本教室之教師需參與至少一場次由本中心舉辦之使用經驗分享工作坊,分享其課程使用心得與成果。
七、本辦法經「外語教學與數位學習資源委員會議」通過,報請教務長核定後公告實施,修正時亦同。

一、 教室用途
提供多人共同閱覽影視資源與教學之多重功能的空間,並作為電影賞析、小型影視教學研討、以及電影系列講座舉辦的教育活動場地。
二、 服務對象
凡符合教室使用用途之全校教職員生、校友、新北市社區民眾,且使用人數在10 人(含)至 30 人之團體。
三、 開放時間
週一至週五 10:00 -20:00。本校行事曆訂定之例假日及寒暑假期間不開放。
四、 申請方式
1. 請於一週前提出申請,預約申請應先填具多功能影音資源展示教室借用申請表。使用順序以登記先後為序。惟本中心保留使用單位優先順序之最後審核權。
2. 為使多功能影音資源展示教室發揮最大效益,本空間不作為學期排課教室及固定活動場地。
五、 教室設備
座位席次:30席。
設備:單槍投影機、120吋電動螢幕、綜合環繞擴大機、觸控式電子白板、藍光DVD播放機、480cmX120cm玻璃白板及筆記型電腦 1 部。
六、 注意事項
1. 使用本場地所播放之影視資料應符合公播版版權及著作權法等相關規定,並以不違反公共秩序或善良風俗為原則。
2. 使用本空間應確實遵守智慧財產權之相關規定,如有違反相關規定,由使用者自行承擔法.責任。
3. 借用人應於預約使用時間 20 分鐘前至FG103語言自學室服務台報到,因故無法前來使用時,應事先通知中心取消預約。
4. 倘因使用不當致使器材或設備受損,應負損壞賠償責任。
七、本辦法經外語教學與數位學習資源委員會審議通過,簽請教務長核定後公布施行,修正時亦同。
