Regulations Governing the Self-Learning Language Lab

Article 1
The Self-Learning Language Lab was established to encourage faculty and students at the University to use their free time to boost their language skills. These Regulations were formulated to maintain a high-quality learning environment in the Lab.
Article 2
All faculty, administrative staff, workers, and students at the University may use their University or Student ID to enter the Lab and use its materials and facilities during open hours.
Article 3
The Self-Learning Language Lab is open from 10:00 until 20:00. (Hours for summer and winter vacation will be determined based on times decided by the University).
Article 4
All language materials are for exclusive use within the Lab; they may not be borrowed or removed.
Article 5
The Lab is to be used for language practice only. Lab space and facilities may not be used for other purposes.
Article 6
Computers should be shut off after use. If there is a problem with a computer, the user should stop using it immediately and request assistance from a student-worker or staff member.
Article 7
The Lab must be kept quiet and tidy. No food or drink is permitted.
Article 8
Mobile phones, pagers, and any other digital messaging devices that may disrupt the quiet of others are prohibited in the Lab. If anyone uses such a device and refuses requests to stop, staff may request the user to leave.
Article 9
Anyone using a computer may not download or copy any software without obtaining permission from the Center. Users must follow related laws and regulations regarding intellectual property rights. The user will be held responsible for any violations.
Article 10
If a user damages any materials or equipment, he/she must pay the full price for the damaged item.
Article 11
Cases of theft will be transferred to the competent authority at the University to administer disciplinary measures.
Article 12
These Regulations have been passed by the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Committee and will be promulgated and implemented upon approval of the Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The same procedure will be followed for each amendment.
