Regulations Governing the Materials Production Room

 

Approved by the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Committee for the Second Semester of the 2009-2010

 Academic Year on June 30, 2010

 

Article 1

The principal purpose of the Materials Production Room is to enable instructors to produce their own multimedia teaching materials.

 

Article 2

The Room is available for use during regular office hours as designated by the University.

 

Article 3

All instructors and teaching assistants of the University may use the Room after checking-in.

 

Article 4

No appointment is necessary to use the Room. Instructors may enter after checking-in. If an instructor is not familiar with how to operate the equipment, it is recommended that he/she make an appointment with staff at the Center beforehand to learn.

 

Article 5

To ensure that equipment functions properly, users should not download any software without first obtaining permission from management staff at the Center.

 

Article 6

In order to prevent damage to equipment, no eating or drinking is permitted in the Room.

 

Article 7

If any user of the room violates these regulations and continues to do so after requested to stop, the staff of the Center may revoke the user’s right to use the facilities.

 

Article 8

These Regulations have been passed at the monthly meeting of the Foreign Language Teaching Resource Center and will be promulgated and implemented upon approval of the Dean of the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The same procedure will be followed for each amendment.
